TTA Award Ceremonie in Graz

Monday, November 26th, 2007

We had been invited to the Ceremonie of the Multimedia Europrix Top Talent Award Gala in the Minoritensaal in Graz. I really loved the fresh and funny way how the Master of Ceremonie, Adam Montandon from http://www.hmcinteractive.co.uk moderated the ceremonie.

Every one of the 21 nominated projects where good, but some where really extraordinary. For me, http://www.hidentag.com/ was one of the coolest. It’s really shows how the internet can be used in a fresh and innovative way. Performing Ecologies, by Ruairi Glynn from Bartlett School of Architecture was another highlight. Pictures from the artwork draw such nice fluid forms – but that is of course not the main reason to be impressed. The interaction and the whole concept is just great. And I like it, when Ruairi said, that it’s just a proof of concept. Keep on going, man. Life-line by Tomek Ducki from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design was great for everyone who likes “traditional” animations. His movie is perfect done – in terms of the storyline, sound design, animation and the technical implementation. Congratulation to all the nominees.
